Feature and Follow Friday is a blog hop hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read.
Q: What book(s) are you reading right now? What do you think of it?
I was reading Everything Left Unsaid by Jessica Davidson. I got about 1/4 of a way through it and I had to stop because I wasn't in the mood to be bawling my eyes out for the next week. Sometimes, (and for me it's most of the times) I need lighthearted, fluffy, sweet stuff. So I picked up Social Suicide, book #2 in the Deadly Cool series. I'm only a chapter in but I can already tell this is gonna be filled with just as much hilarity, fun and shenanigans as the first novel.
What are you reading?
Have you read either of these?
Do you enjoy a bit (or a lot) of heart ache in your books?
Let me know if you're a new follower so I can follow back :)

This is the first I heard of these books, actually. Here's my FF.. :)

Wow that's so cool. I haven't come across many Aussie book bloggers (and especially not a fellow Melbournian!).
DeleteHahaha, sorry, but I love the fact that you wanted some light reading and went to a book that has 'suicide' in the title XD Reading the summary for 'Everything Left Unsaid' I can imagine you wanted something lighter though! Thanks for sharing, I'm a new follower!

Lol. That is funny. I don't know what goes through my head sometimes! Despite the title it is a lot more easy going than the other book I was reading.
DeleteThanks!
SOCIAL SUICIDE. I LOVED IT JUST AS MUCH AS THE FIRST ONE. Oh, Hartley, you and your Nancy Drew instincts <3 Everything Left Unsaid sounds both tragic and brilliant. I haven't read it but I have a serious feeling that it'll make me sob buckets. Both of these are amazing books!

I'm glad that it's just as good as the first one. I love Nancy Drew/Veronica Mars aspect to it. It's so much fun.

Visit my FF.
I know right. I have a low tolerance for angst.
DeleteI'm the opposite; I tend to usually be in the mood for angst, and it takes a specific mood to desire some fluffiness. :P New follower, by the way!
ReplyDeleteMy FF.
I'm just a big wuss lol.
DeleteI hadn't heard of either of these, but just your little blurb has made me want to read both!

Crying is the worst lol.
DeleteA girl that comes into the library where I work just read Deadly Cool and LOVED it. She told me I had to borrow it from the library and read it. So I checked it out. Can't wait to read it. Didn't realize it was a series. I will pass that info on to the girl.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading. :)
